-------------------------------------Veg Pizza------------------------------------------------ Ingredients for Making Veg Pizza:

For Dough of Veg Pizza:

All Purpose flour- 1 Cup
whole wheat flour- 1 cup
Sugar- 2 Tbsp
Salt- 1 Tbsp
Olive Oil/Corn oil/Butter- 2-4 Tbsp
Quick-Rise Active Dry Yeast- 1 1/2 Tbsp
Warm Water (110 Degrees F.)- 1 Cup

-----------------------------------Veg Pizza-------------------------------------------------- For Topping of Veg Pizza:

Mushrooms- 1/4 lb. (Sliced)
Red Onion- 1 Small

(Sliced)
Green Bell Pepper- 1 (Sliced)
Pineapple-2 Slices (Cubed)
Parmesan Cheese- 4 oz (Grated)
Mozzarella Cheese- 4 oz (Grated)

For Seasoning of Veg Pizza:

Chilly Flakes- 1/4 Tbsp
Oregano- 1/4 Tbsp
Basil- 1/4 Tbsp

Method of Preparation of Veg Pizza:

----------------------------------Veg Pizza--------------------------------------------------- First of all you need to activate the yeast. For activating it mix yeast in a cup of warm water. Let it settle for about 10 minutes until creamy.
In a medium bowl combine 2 cups of flour, sugar and salt. Mix these dry ingredients well. Now add 1 tbsp of olive oil to the dry ingredients.
Pour in the yeast mixture activated earlier and add enough water to knead the dough. Knead it until it forms a soft and elastic dough ball. For veg pizza, the dough should be soft not sticky. If the dough you kneaded is too sticky, then add a bit more flour and knead it for another minute or so. Place the dough in a greased bowl and coat all sides of the dough with olive oil. Cover this greased dough of

veg pizza with plastic wrap or a small wet towel. Keep it aside and allow the dough to rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size, then punch it down. Pre heat the oven.
Knead the dough for veg pizza again for 2-3 min on a lightly floured surface.
Shape dough into a round ball and roll ball into 4 6-inch circle with the help of a rolling pin. Put the rolled out veg pizza crust on the greased pizza pan or cookie sheet.
Spread a layer of peeled and crushed tomato on top, leaving a one inch margin along the edges. Sprinkle a handful of mozzarella and parmesan cheese. On it spread mushrooms, red onion, bell peppers and pineapple (you can also add any vegetable or fruit for your veg pizza topping). Top the ingredients with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese, chilly flakes, oregano and basil. Bake the veg pizza for 20-30 min at 400 degrees F until crust is golden. Let the pizza set for 5-10 min before slicing.
